Blizzard has revived StarCraft with an original entry that trades real-time strategy for an open-world shooter. Its cinematic trailer returns to the Koprulu Sector and sets a spring 2030 launch window, although the studio has not confirmed platforms or a specific day.
Diablo V launches in spring 2029. The new chapter begins in a defeated Sanctuary where Diablo has won. Before then, Diablo IV comes to Nintendo Switch 2 on September 15, 2026, alongside the Season of Hell's Legacy, which brings back the Prime Evils and Deckard Cain.
World of Warcraft: Forever launches November 4, 2026, with a beta beginning September 17. This third permanent WoW experience will coexist with Modern and Classic while reimagining original Azeroth with three zones, more than 1,000 quests, nine dungeons, two raids and the new Skyborne race.
Warcraft III: Reforged has also received Forsaken Kingdom, its first original campaign in more than 23 years, available since September 12 alongside update 3.0. The BlizzCon opening also confirmed Xal'atath for Heroes of the Storm, the Monk class for Hearthstone in March 2027 and Doctrine as Overwatch's newest Support Hero.
