Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is available today, September 17, 2026, exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. Intelligent Systems returns with a new turn-based strategy game focused on four heroes whose fates intertwine across time.
The story begins in a future devastated by the demon god Balor. With help from Sothis and Fortuna, the protagonist travels into the past to guide Cai, Dietrich, Theodora and Leda through Dagsion's Heroic Games and try to prevent the world's destruction.
Battles retain the series' grid-based maps, classes and relationship building. Fortune’s Weave adds Blaze Arts, signature moves that consume health, and Blessings bestowed by the gods. Between tournament matches, players can recruit allies, train, explore the city and complete quests across the world map and its dungeons.
