Game of Thrones: War for Westeros showed its gameplay during Opening Night Live after PlaySide's brief teaser. The project adapts the Seven Kingdoms into a classic real-time strategy experience for PC.
Each house and faction features asymmetric units, heroes and play styles. Players can conquer territory, raise armies, form temporary alliances or betray rivals in campaign and multiplayer battles.
PlaySide has delayed the launch from 2026 to early 2027 to complete development at the intended quality bar. The studio has not yet announced a specific day.
LanzaBit has updated the game page with the new window so it no longer appears as a confirmed 2026 release.
