The Coalition has completed the main development of Gears of War: E-Day. The game has gone gold and remains scheduled for October 6, 2026, on Xbox Series X|S and PC, with Game Pass availability on day one.
Pre-loading begins September 29 at 15:00 UTC. Premium Edition owners and players with the corresponding upgrade can start October 1, five days before the standard edition.
Xbox has also published the PC requirements and confirmed options designed for a range of hardware. The PC edition will be available through Xbox on PC and Steam, while LanzaBit's page lists only the platforms officially announced.
E-Day is an origin story for Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago during Emergence Day. Alongside its co-op campaign, it includes Horde Siege, competitive Versus matches and multiplayer progression.
