IllFonic has revealed East Haddonfield, one of the environments in Halloween: The Game, for the first time. The map expands the suburb from the original 1978 film with streets and locations that received less attention on screen while preserving its residential architecture and the sense of menace surrounding Michael Myers.
The studio worked with franchise producer Malek Akkad and consulted director John Carpenter while defining the location's tone and details. East Haddonfield will appear in both multiplayer survival matches and one of the story mode's chapters.
The game pits killers against heroes across different Haddonfield environments. IllFonic wants each area to function as a recognizable pursuit space while telling stories that fill in locations only briefly suggested in the film.
Halloween: The Game launches September 8, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Its LanzaBit page retains the confirmed date, platforms and official trailer without assigning content exclusivity to any specific version.
