Square Enix has announced that Kingdom Hearts IV will launch in late 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The company revealed the new window during the Disney Entertainment Showcase at D23.
The new trailer provides the first official look at the world of Coco. Sora explores the colorful Land of the Dead and appears in several action sequences, although much of the video focuses on introducing the Pixar-inspired setting.
A specific month and day have not been announced. LanzaBit will keep the game outside the dated calendar until Square Enix provides an exact release date and will list it as planned for late 2027.
The Kingdom Hearts IV page now reflects the release window and every announced platform. It also retains a playable official trailer, gallery, studio details and a direct link to the official source for future updates.
