Mortal Shell II launches August 20, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Cold Symmetry and Playstack are releasing the soulslike action RPG sequel digitally across all three platforms.
The new game removes the stamina bar to encourage more aggressive and expressive combat. Players can possess eight forgotten warriors, develop their abilities and combine melee weapons with ranged options.
Its compact open world links temples, forests, frozen graves and bone-carved citadels through paths hiding more than 60 dungeons. Exploration uncovers additional shells, memories, weapons and upgrades before battles against the false gods of the Undermether.
