Ubisoft announced Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Tactics during gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live. The new project moves away from first-person action to deliver a single-player turn-based tactical campaign set alongside Rainbow Six Siege's timeline.
Players command Rainbow and build four-person squads from a roster of 15 Operators. Each specialist retains unique abilities, gadgets and progression trees, ranging from reconnaissance tools to equipment that creates new entry points.
The campaign features more than 50 missions across different locations, with objectives including hostage rescue, bomb disposal and target elimination. Destructible environments and the Breach feature let players prepare synchronized entries before executing the plan.
Rainbow Six Tactics launches in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Ubisoft has not announced a specific day, so its page remains in LanzaBit's upcoming games section without an exact date.
