Shape of Dreams has been available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 since September 17, 2026. Lizard Smoothie's roguelite originally debuted on PC in September 2025, so this release applies to the console editions rather than a simultaneous launch on every platform.
The adventure can be played solo or in an online party of up to four. Cross-play connects console and PC users, while the Xbox edition joins Game Pass on day one.
Each run lets players combine more than 200 Memories and Essences to alter abilities and create different playstyles. Nine Travelers feature distinct mechanics, ranging from long-range attacks to support, mobility and melee-focused builds.
The console launch coincides with The Starless Path, an anniversary update adding the Traveler Cetus, a new final boss, an additional ending and more expedition content. LanzaBit's game page now reflects all four current platforms, the trailer and cross-play support.
