The story once again puts players in Skif's boots as he heads toward the center of the Zone to uncover what lies inside territory that has remained closed to every stalker until now.
Cost of Hope develops the conflict between the Duty and Freedom factions through a nonlinear campaign. Player decisions alter the story and its outcome, making it impossible to discover every part of the expansion in a single playthrough.
