STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT launches August 20, 2026, on Xbox Series X|S and PC. MAGES. rebuilds the 2009 visual novel for a current generation, with Spike Chunsoft publishing the Western release.
The characters, Akihabara environments and interface have all been redrawn and modernized. The story retains its choices, messages to the past and multiple endings while adding a new Gamma route that expands Rintaro Okabe's fate.
The Western PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 editions have a different release date: October 29, 2026. LanzaBit now separates both launches so the calendar and platform filters do not assign the August date to those consoles.
