S-GAME has dedicated an almost 20-minute State of Play presentation to Phantom Blade Zero, taking a deeper look at combat, exploration and progression. The showcase positions it as a semi-open action RPG rather than a simple sequence of battles.
Soul can collect more than 30 main weapons and 25 secondary weapons known as Phantom Edges. Every piece supports upgrades and accessories, while reforging returns invested materials so players can experiment with other builds without being punished.
Exploring Wulin includes secrets and side quests that can open additional story routes. S-GAME also introduced Wayfarer for story-focused players, Hellwalker with more demanding adaptive enemies, and Sixty-Six Days, where every death removes one of the protagonist's 66 remaining days.
Donnie Yen, a creative consultant on the project since 2023, provides facial and motion capture for Mó Yuan, Soul's father. Phantom Blade Zero remains scheduled for October 29, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and PC, and its LanzaBit page now includes the official presentation and newly confirmed features.
